Global FM Awards of Excellence
The Global FM (GFM) Awards of Excellence were created to enable GFM Members to further showcase and communicate achievements of their FM Members to an international audience. They are only open to GFM Members and must be nominated by the Member Association.
GFM members nominate ‘best in class’ from either GFM Members award programs or, for those who don’t have an award program, encourage their members to submit suitable projects or achievements via the GFM nomination process.
The Awards bring entries from around the world each year. These nominations must be submitted in line with our guidelines.
About Global FM Awards of Excellence 2026
This year Associations and Federations can access and upload their submissions directly onto the awards portal, along with their supporting documentation, and in line with the awards criteria. The process is easy to maneuver through the portal answering the criteria questions as listed below.
In line with World FM Day this year’s theme for the Global FM awards of Excellence is: FM: “Cultivating Belonging Through Built Environments”
The Global World of Workplace and Facility Management continues to be a major challenge globally mainly due to the social and economic uncertainty around the globe and this will continue to bring challenges to the workplace and the delivery of FM services for the foreseeable future.
The FM industry has once again got the opportunity to drive change and with the world of work continuing to transform at a fast pace, FM continues to play a key role in both supporting & driving change.
This year’s World FM day theme embraces the fact that Facility Management plays a vital role in creating workplaces and built environments that foster belonging, respect, and inclusion for all communities hence this year’s theme FM: “Cultivating Belonging Through Built Environments” is broad enough to support numerous sub-themes and topics that can showcase the ways in which FM has positively impacted the lives of individual facility users and facility managers, organizations, communities, local, regional, and national economies, and other spheres of society.
