Awards form part of World FM Day celebrations – 10 June 2015

Global FM, the worldwide alliance of facilities management (FM) organisations, is pleased to announce the Global FM Awards of Excellence in FM 2015 winners as part of World FM Day – its worldwide celebration of facilities management. This year’s winners will be formally announced by Duncan Waddell at the Workplace Continuity conference being held by Global FM Corporate Supporter NJW in London, as part of the World FM Day 2015 celebrations.

“The Global FM Excellence in FM Awards are a high-level international competition recognising the best of the best in facilities management, highlighting how they support businesses across the globe.” Said Duncan Waddell, Chairman of Global FM.

The 2015 winners are as follows:

  • Platinum Award of Excellence in FM – BIFM – JLL Property and Asset Management Academy, UK
  • Gold Award of Excellence in FM – IFMA – Westminster Schools Move to a Sustainable Campus, USA
  • Silver Award of Excellence in FM – FMA – People and Productivity – Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Australia

Duncan Waddell continued: “The judges were delighted that the top submissions demonstrated good innovation and connection with the rest of the business as well as the FM community. I am delighted that this year’s winners represent the larger and the smaller end of FM. This provides some great examples which show that innovation is not, and does not have to be, limited to big business and meaningful impact can be made from everyone operating right across the sector.”

The awards focus on promoting the strategic value and progression of facilities management, and look to assess: Innovation, Advancement of FM, Corporate Outcomes, Contribution to Global FM’s mission, Leadership in FM Operations.
